* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Annual walk attracts area residents

Now in its 38th year, St. Marys' annual Walk With Nature was begun by local attorney Eldon Montague and followed the Miami & Erie Canal from Memorial Park to the 40-Acre Pond. In 1997 the walk merged with the New Bremen/New Knoxville Rotary Club Canal Walk traveling the tow path several miles to the south. Above, Curt and Ruth Brookhart of New Bremen begin walking north.
