* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Pickin' pumpkins

Deenah Bohan, 2, tries her best to pick up a large pumpkin at the Green Thumb Farm Market, New Bremen, as her classmate, 2-year-old Alex Schmitmeyer, chooses one for himself. The toddlers in the early intervention program at the ABC Center in New Bremen enjoyed their field trip to the pumpkin patch on Thursday.
