* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

John Tobin
John "Jack" Tobin, 80, of Montezuma, died today, Oct. 4, 2007 at his residence 31 S. Canal St. in Montezuma.
He was born March 20, 1927, in Montezuma, to Cloid and Sarah Yaney Tobin. On Dec. 5, 1946, he married Alice Cencebaugh, who died Sept. 11, 2006.
Surviving are a son, Mark (Chris), Montezuma; two daughters, Penny (Lowell) Kissinger, Bradford, and Diane Whitehead (Bob Huffman), Montezuma; two sisters, Bertha Mae Edminston, and June Miller, both of Celina; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Jim and Bob.
He was a carpenter and painter and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. He was a member of Montezuma United Methodist Church, the Celina American Legion, Post 210 and Celina V.F.W. Post, Post 5713.
Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
