Mary Seger
Mary E. Seger, 84, 84 Eastview Drive, Fort Loramie, died at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7, 2007, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 3, 1922, in Anna, to Anthony and Elizabeth Siegel Geise. On Aug. 1, 1945, she married Francis Monnin, who died Dec. 14, 1953. On May 18, 1957, she married Carl A. Seger Sr., who died July 17, 2004.
Surviving are five sons, Steven (Rita) Monnin, Botkins, Richard (Mary) Monnin, Sidney, Mike Monnin and Carl Jr. (Cindy), all of Fort Loramie, and Jeffery (Kendra) Seger, Newport; three daughters, Diana (John) Hoying, St. Henry, and Bonnie (Joe) Sturm and Mary Beth (Gary Corbin) Seger, Sidney; a son-in-law, Dennis Boerger, Sidney; four brothers, Victor (Irene) Geise, Middletown, Anthony (Ann) Geise, Don (Margaret) Geise and Kenny (Karen) Geise, all of Fort Loramie, and Fred (Charlotte) Geise, Union; 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Patricia Boerger; a daughter-in-law, Rose Monnin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Dorothy Geise, Ed and Hildreth Geise, and Len and Martha Geise; and an infant sister, Eileen Geise.
She was a homemaker and retired from Stolle Corp., Sidney. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, a member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 335, Fort Loramie and the White Oak Lake Association.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
