Campaign begins

Bill Vondrell, chairman of the Celina Combined Services Appeal, kicks off the annual drive at the first Celina home football game Friday night. The football for the traditional kick to start the fund raiser was held by high school assistant principal Kevin Mast. Vondrell was backed on the field by representatives of the 22 local service and youth organizations who benefit from the drive. The goal is to raise $150,000, the same as last year.
