Rosa Dunmoyer
Rosa J. Dunmoyer, 87, of Geneva, Ind., died at 4:24 a.m. Sept. 6, 2007, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Indiana.
She was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Jay County, Ind., to Oscar C. and Bertha R. Dilbavou Flauding. Her stepmother, Thelma Flauding, also is deceased. On Sept. 23, 1939, she married Keith E. Dunmoyer, who died Feb. 29, 2007.
Survivors are a son, James "Ed" (Celia), Geneva; a daughter, Janet (Rodney) York, Convoy; two stepbrothers, Joe Landon, of California, and Roger Landon, Dunkirk, Ind.; a stepsister, Sarah Margaret Isenbarger, Dunkirk; a sister-in-law, Letisha Flauding, Portland, Ind.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Grover Flauding; a stepbrother, Delma Landon; a stepsister, Elizabeth McCune; a grandson; and a great-grandchild.
She worked at Lords Dress Shop in Portland for 10 years and on the family farm. A 1937 graduate of Poling High School, Jay County, she was a member of the Living Water United Methodist Church, Bluffton, Ind., and the Professional Women's Club, Portland.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, the Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Burial is at West Lawn Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church, Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana or the Angel Corps.
