Edna Boeke
Edna C. Boeke, 70, 222 S. Cleveland St., Minster, died at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 21, 2007, at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1937, in Russia, to Thomas and Josephine Placke Paulus. On May 4, 1957, she married Virgil W. Boeke, who died Oct. 13, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Gerald (Sharon), Piqua; a daughter, Karen (Rick) Westerbeck, New Bremen; a brother, Charles Paulus, Versailles; three sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Tom Fauler) Wyen, Minster, Marie (Ed) Didier, Versailles, and Lucille (Henry) Lange, St. Henry; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She retired from Globus Printing and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1391, all of Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
