* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helen Topp
Helen W. Topp, 92, formerly of 203 S. Washington Street, New Bremen, and a resident of the Valley Nursing Center, St. Marys for the past 11 years, died at 4:50 a.m. on Aug. 10, 2007 at the nursing center.
She was born on June 15, 1915, in New Bremen to William J. and Anna Topp.
Surviving are a sister, Donna (Robert) Harmeyer, St. Marys.
Deceased are two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth; and a sister, Irene.
She retired from the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, after 32 years of service. She also had worked at the former White Mountain Creamery, New Bremen. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen and a member of the Capsule of the church. She was a graduate of New Bremen High School and the Miami Jacobs College, Dayton.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will follow in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 3-6 p.m. on Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen and 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or to the donor's choice.
