* At 813 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bluffton to near Wapakoneta, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include... Wapakoneta, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Waynesfield, Buckland, Uniopolis, Kossuth, and State Route 116 at State Route 197.

A severe thunderstorm with straight-line winds rocked Celina late Thursday afternoon, downing several large trees at the Mercer County Fairgrounds and causing power outages in the southeast and west portions of the city.
According to Mike Ryan, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, wind speeds from the storm reached 60-65 miles per hour. [More]

A swarm of honeybees decided to spend some respite time at my home last week and it was more than a little unnerving.
By the time the bees clustered together on a nearby tree branch, the winged insects resembled an overgrown football. Only it was alive.
