* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Mohrman

David John Mohrman, 39, 505 E. Monroe St., New Bremen, died July 23, 2007, at 4306 Dicke Road, New Bremen. The cause of death was an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.

He was born July 20, 1968, in New Bremen, to John and Carol Schmit Mohrman, who survive near New Bremen. On Aug. 11, 1989, he married Laura Santiago, who survives in New Bremen.

Also surviving are two sons, Gregory Robinson and Jonathan Mohrman, both of New Bremen; a brother, Donald, New Bremen; two sisters, Brenda Haynes and Tina Garcia, both of New Bremen; and a mother-in-law, Shirley Rodriguez.

He worked at NK Parts, Sidney, and formerly at AAP, St. Marys. He was a U.S. Army veteran from 1986 to 1992, serving in the fish and wildlife department and special services. He also was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, and a den leader with the New Bremen Cub Scouts.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. There will be no burial; he is to be cremated at his request.

Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
