Donald Wheeler
Donald P. Wheeler, 64, of rural Edon, died July 11, 1007, at his home. Death was due to cancer.
He was born May 20, 1943, in Napoleon, to Robert Israel and Gertrude Andrews Wheeler. His first wife, Barbara, is deceased. On June 17, 2000, he married Linda Royer, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daniel (Nancy), Celina; three daughters, Barbara (Glen) Dickman and Brenda (George) Smith, all of Delphos, and Beth (Mike) Shaw, Beatyville, Ky.; four stepsons, Robert (Dolly) Royer and Corey Royer, all of Bryan, Brian (Cindy) Royer, Battle Creek, Mich., and Mike Royer, Oscola, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Lindi (Kenneth) Peterson, Garden City, Mich.; a brother, Bert, Cloverdale; a sister-in-law, Juanita, Cloverdale; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a stepson, Tracy A. Royer; a brother, Fred; and a sister, Ruth Zickefoose.
He was co-owner and operator of D & L Sales, Edon. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Montpelier.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier.
