* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alvira Schlater
Alvira "Vera" Schlater, 78, of Versailles, died at 4:23 p.m. July 8, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born Nov. 17, 1928, in Fort Loramie, to Bernard and Victoria Pleiman Schulze. On May 4, 1949, she married Norbert Schlater, who survives in Versailles.
Also surviving are eight sons, Ronald (Diana) and Mark (Shirley), all of St. Paris, Roger (Shirley), Dale (Kathy) and Stan (Rita), all of Versailles, David (Mary Jo), St. Henry, Mike (Jayne), St. Marys, and Denis (Gerri), Coldwater; four daughters, Karen (Jeff) Keiser and Lois (David) Bruns, all of Versailles, Vicky (Stan) Nuding, Celina, and Jane (James) Puckett, Urbana; five sisters, Mary Ann (John) Knapke, New Bremen, Elsie (Ralph) Winner, Osgood, Kate (Gene) Bergman, Maria Stein, Virginia (Bill) Miller, New Bern, N.C., and Joann (Bob) Schulze-Albers, North Star; 38 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Bernard "Bud" Schulze and a great-granddaughter.
She was a homemaker, was employed at Argosy Manufacturing, Versailles, and was a school bus driver for Versailles schools. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and its Daughters of Isabella, Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Martins Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
