It takes two to redo

Workers using two large cranes continue restoration work at the former Schulenberg and Lauts building along West Monroe Street in New Bremen. Currently owned by Crown Equipment Corp., it houses The Grille restaurant and the New Bremen Bicycle Museum. The project will restore the building ediface to its 1891 prominence complete with decorative towers when the structure also served as home to the local chapter of the International Order of Oddfellows.
