Larry Haffey
Larry D. Haffey, 50, 307 N. Brandon Ave., Celina, died at 12:34 p.m. June 18, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to cancer.
He was born June 28, 1956, in Waukegan, Ill., to Wilbur D. and Judith B. Balderson Haffey, who are both deceased. On Oct. 18, 1997, he married Pamela Swygart, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jamie (Justin) Cotterman, Celina; two sisters, Tamara J. Boess and Ria C. (Robert) Schroeder, all of Celina; and a grandson.
Deceased is a sister, Luanne M. Haffey.
He worked for 23 years at Huffy Bicycle Corp. in Celina and later as a truck driver for Moeller Trucking in Chickasaw. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Celina, and a former member of the Professional Bowlers Association. He was a 1974 graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Paul Baglien officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, and one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
