* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Evelyn Warner
Evelyn P. Warner, 83, 207 S. Franklin St., New Bremen, died at 12:09 a.m. June 16, 2007, in the emergency room at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Nov. 18, 1923, in New Bremen, to Arnold and Elsie Awrey Gieseke. On June 20, 1943, she married Karl Warner, who died April 7, 1999.
Surviving are two daughters, Carole (Larry) LaVeen, Sidney, and Susan, New Bremen; a grandson, a great-grandson and a stepgreat-grandaughter.
Deceased are two sisters, Dorothy Kah and Marjorie Lietz.
She had worked at the former Sieberling Rubber Co. and Kroger's market in New Bremen. She and her husband also created and sold doll house miniature furniture, and she knitted sweaters for the needy through Guidepost Magazine. A 1941 graduate of New Bremen High School, she was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, the New Bremen Historic Association and the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund, the New Bremen rescue squad, the New Bremen Historic Association or the American Heart Association.
