Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Alberta Nieberding
Alberta V. Nieberding, 92, 304 N. Mill St., Coldwater, died at 11:10 p.m. June 12, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Feb. 28, 1915, in Ottawa, to Louis N. and Amelia C. Kracht Welde. On Sept. 7, 1936, she married Joseph H. Nieberding, who died July 27, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith (Floyd) Winner and Mary Lynn (Virgil) Lochtefeld, all of Coldwater; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Harold Welde; a sister, Mary Gast; a half brother, Alfred Welde; and two half sisters, Leona Jones and Loretta Fackelma.
She worked at the former New Idea plant, Coldwater, at The People's Bank Co., Coldwater, and also gave piano lessons. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, and was a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul High School, Ottowa, and the International Business College, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. Ron Wilker and Rick Nieberding officiating, Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
