The Grand Lake/Wabash Watershed Alliance is opposed to a recently introduced Ohio bill that would revert to the old on-site sewage treatment system (STS) laws prior to Jan. 1, 2007.
During the regular meeting on Thursday afternoon, GLWWA Coordinator Theresa May went over a letter she wrote to Ohio Sen. Keith Faber, R-Celina, on behalf of the GLWWA. The letter states "that there is a better option than rescinding the new sewage treatment laws" and offers two possible propositions. [More]

Celina's Harbor House Maternity Home recently acquired a similar facility in Norwalk and the organization currently is in the midst of a reorganization effort.
Both maternity homes, called Harbor House, Celina and Harbor House, Norwalk, will operate under an umbrella organization called Harbor Life Ministries (HLM), said the Rev. Bruce Head, director of the Celina home. [More]

Sophomore pitching ace Kayla Thornsberry limited the Tigers to two hits and struck out 10 as the Roughriders advance to their first Division II state title game in school history with a 2-1 win over Circleville at Brookside Park in Ashland. [More]
