* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Borger
Robert J. Borger, 83, 141 E. Washington St., St. Henry, died at 1:45 p.m. May 29, 2007, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born Aug. 16, 1923, in St. Henry, to Urban and Thresia Uhlenhake Borger. On June 14, 1947, he married Mary Rita Kaup, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Bill (Mary), Vandalia, Dave, St. Henry, and Marvin, Toledo; a daughter, Patricia, Cincinnati; a brother, Carl (Ethel), St. Henry; a sister, Merdella Schwieterman, St. Henry; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy, St. Henry; a sister-in-law, Esther, Celina; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, James; a brother, Melvin; and a brother-in-law, Cy Schwieterman.
He was employed at the former Avco Allied New Idea plant, Coldwater, as a electrician from 1946 to 1988 and was a part-time electrician working in the area until 2005. In 1953 he received a diploma in electrical maintenance from International Correspondence School of Scranton, Pa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in Italy. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and St. Henry American Legion Post 648, he coached Little League, Babe Ruth League and Acme League baseball, he played semi-pro for St. Henry Vets and was a volunteer fireman.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Marvin Borger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery where military rites will be performed.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Contributions can be made to Kidney Services of West Central Ohio and State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.
