Virginia Birt
Virginia E. Birt, 88, 7550 U.S. 33, Celina, died at 9:35 a.m. April 16, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Mercer County, to Otto and Della Anselman Trisel. On Oct. 26, 1940, she married Eugene Birt, who survives.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Donna), Celina; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Kathy Prater; seven brothers, Roy, Casey, Herman, Sterling, Arthur, Clarence and Herbert Trisel; and two sisters, Almeda Wellman and Lorenia Binkley.
She was a homemaker and cook for the former Neptune School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Neptune Church of God, the Revs. Tim Clutter and William Moorman officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
