Jesus, portrayed by Brad Homan, is cradled in the arms of his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary portrayed by Janessa Bruns, during a segment of The Living Way of the Cross at St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea on Wednesday night. The play, presented during Holy Week each year by the church's junior high and high school religious education students, is in its seventh year.
