* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Charles Wellman
Charles E. Wellman, 80, 214 W. Spring St., New Knoxville, died at 8:30 a.m. March 14, 2007, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
He was born April 4, 1926, in Carter Creek, Auglaize County, to Edward and Leona Dammeyer Wellman. On Oct. 13, 1951, he married Marian F. Rain, who survives.
Surviving are a son, Kent (Betty), Wapakoneta; two daughters, Kendra (Jeff) Opperman, St. Marys, and Keri (John) Koepke, Hilliard; a brother, Mack (Vernita), New Bremen; two sisters, Mary (Merle) Sampson, Swanton, and Carol (Richard) Deniston, Westerville; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two grandsons.
He retired from the United States Postal Service, serving as postmaster at New Knoxville Post Office for 28 years. After retirement he worked for New Knoxville Supply Company. He also had worked for Auglaize County Farm Bureau and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the 144th Armored Division during World War II. He was a 1944 graduate of New Bremen High School and graduated from Lima Business School. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, where he was deacon and Sunday School superintendent; New Knoxville Historical Society; and American Legion Post 444, New Knoxville, were he served as financal secretary. He also was a member of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States and Disabled American Veterans.
Services are 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville, were military rites will be conducted.
Calling is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the church.
