Gladys Schultz
Gladys Schultz, 83, of 02700 Greenville Road, St. Marys, died at 7:37 a.m. Feb. 16, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born July 15, 1923, in Auglaize County to Orval and Gertrude (Sheaks) Stoner. On Feb. 19, 1944, she married John Schultz, who survives at the residence.
Also surviving are two sons, John Jr., and Jerry (Judy), all of St. Marys; two daughters, JoAnn (Keith) Hodges, Overland Park, Kan., and Jan (Gary) Ouellette, Barre, Vt.; a brother, Pearl (Mary Alice) Stoner, Celina; three sisters, Marie (Don) Hegemier, Wapakoneta, Kathryn (Bill) Harris, St.Marys, and Sue (Jack) Griner, Paulding; a brother-in-law, Don Stevely, Madison, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Mary Alice Stoner, St. Marys; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Jenelle Steveley and Mary Lou Stuck; two bothers-in-law, Frank Stuck and Bob Stoner.
She was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, where she had taught Sunday School for many years and served in the Ladies' Circle of the Chruch. She was a member of the Farm Bureau Council and the Women's Council of the Bureau. She was a 1941 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
