Thomas Nuesmeyer
Thomas H. Nuesmeyer, 59, 14075 state Route 116, St. Marys, died at 8:39 p.m. Jan. 29, 2007, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, from injuries sustained in a house fire at his residence.
He was born Aug. 29, 1947, in Lima, to Forest and Irene Westerbeck Nuesmeyer, who are deceased. His former wife, Janet Rush Trego, survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are a son, Chad (Ashley), Galloway; three daughters Keri, Columbus, and Amanda (Adrian) Smith and Jennifer (Josh) Hanna, all of Delphos; two brothers, Steve (Tammy), Wapakoneta, and Bill (Anna Kay), St. Marys; and a sister, Betty (Gregory) Bergman, Minster; and two granddaughters.
He was the owner of Nuesmeyer Construction Co., St. Marys, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a 1965 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and attended Ohio University, Athens. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 and its clown unit and attended Living Hope Assembly of God, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Randy McKinney, officiating. Burial will follow with full graveside military rites at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
