Norman Coil
Norman E. Coil, 75, 213 Glenn St., Mendon, died the morning of Jan. 27, 2007, at The Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Delphos, to Alfred and Ada Ferris Coil. On July 19, 1969, he married Barbara Fannon, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Craig (Angela), Clinton, Miss.; five daughters, Brinda Simmons, Piqua, Kim (Randy) Wendel, Celina, Kristy (Shawn) Hole and Lori (Todd) Marsee, all of Cape Coral, Fla.; Michelle (Steve) Gill, Hoquiam, Wash.; a brother, Roger (Nancy), Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Betty (Jack) Beougher, Celina; a sister-in-law, Karen Auer, St. Marys; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
Deceased is a son, James Franklin Coil.
He was currently a self-employed woodworker. He was a factory worker at Mersman Tables and Schuck Manufacturing, both in Celina, at New Idea, Coldwater, and for several years operated the Sweet Shoppe, Celina. He was a member of Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Jim Keiser officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
