Retirees recognized

Retiring Coldwater village employee Ron Stachler and Coldwater Fire Department volunteer Mark Heinl were presented with plaques and keys to the village at Monday evening's village council meeting. Mayor LaVern Stammen, left, presented the awards. Stachler, center, was employed with the village's water department for 22 years. Also congratulating him was Village Manager-Engineer Eric Thomas, pictured at the right.
