Local people attend D.C. rally

A group of Mercer County girls poses in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C., on Monday during this year's March for Life. A record number of local residents - 170 - sponsored by the Mercer County Right to Life attended the rally. Monday marked the 34th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion on demand. The local marchers held a rally at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Burkettsville on Sunday evening before departing for the capital.
