* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jack Severns
Jack Roger Severns, 59, of 5920 state Route 707, Mendon died from cancer at 10:10 p.m. at his residence
He was born May 6, 1947 in Van Wert to Robert and Beatrice Rasawuhr Severns. On Dec. 23, 1967, he married Carol Sue Orr, who survives in Mendon.
Also surviving are a daughter, Julie (Ray) VanWynsberghe, Delaware, and two grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and worked at Omni Manufacturing, St. Marys. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, and a graduate of Parkway High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Arthur Wilde officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 5-7 Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice and the Mercer County Cancer Society.
