MINSTER - Superintendent Gayl Ray told Minster Local Schools board of education members Monday night that she will be bringing a petition to a future meeting as the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding prepares to place an issue on the November ballot.
Board of education members approved the fiscal year 2008 budget appropriations of $26.5 million, which includes a carryover of $6.8 million.
Following the Monday night meeting, District Treasurer Mike Marbaugh said about 77 percent of that general fund appropriation is for salaries and fringes.
