* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alvina Bernard
Alvina T. Bernard, 84, 8619 state Route 119, Maria Stein, died at 11 p.m. Dec. 11, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to a sudden illness.
She was born June 8, 1922, in Maria Stein, to Herman and Leona Huber Leugers. On July 6, 1946, she married Cyril A. Bernard, who died Dec. 28, 2004.
Survivors are two sons, Tom (Loraine) and Don, all of Maria Stein; a daughter, Ann (Ron) Puthoff, Chickasaw; three brothers, Henry and Arthur (Bonnie) Leugers, all of Maria Stein, and Joseph (Helen) Leugers, Springfield; a sister, Rosemary Moeller, Maria Stein; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Richard; a brother-in-law, Paul Moeller; and a sister-in-law, Lillian Leugers.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein; Knights of St. John; St. Ann Ladies Sodality; American Legion Post 571 Auxiliary, Maria Stein; and the Ladies Bridge Club for over 50 years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Schroeder officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
