The Potter House will host an ornament painting contest during Midnight Gladness being held downtown Friday night. Stores with luminaries in front will be open until midnight, with special holiday sales and events. Some of those events include chili and hot drinks at the fire department, a story hour at the library, a bake sale, carolers and lots of discounts.
