Leroy Garman
Coldwater native Leroy A. Garman, 77, of Wapakoneta, died Nov. 6, 2006, at University Medical Center of Ohio, Toledo.
He was born July 24, 1929, in Coldwater, to Aloys and Ottilia Gottas Garman. His wife, Patricia Garman, died Dec. 10, 2003.
Survivors are a daughter, Linda (Gregory) Wilker, Perrysburg, and two sisters, Alberta Reno, Indianapolis, Ind., and Lucille Moorman, Celina.
Deceased are a brother, Eugene; and a sister, Rose Deardoff.
He was employed as a mechanical designer with Crown Lift Trucks and Avco New Idea. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving as part of Operation Ivy, nuclear testing in the South Pacific. He graduated in 1983 from Wright State University with an associates degree in business management.
There is no service or calling.
