Clem Enneking
Clem A. Enneking, 86, 12 Crestwood Drive, Minster, died at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 7, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster. He was ill one week and a resident at the nursing home one day.
He was born April 1, 1920, in Minster, to Clem and Catherine Kaiser Enneking. On May 1, 1946, he married Zita Evers, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Kathleen (Ralph) Bowman, Kingman, Ariz., Diane (Dave) Hemmert, Botkins, Linda Thobe, Cassella, and Patricia (Virgil) Muhlenkamp, Coldwater; a sister, Rosella Boerger, Fort Loramie; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren and 18 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and John Enneking; three sisters, Mary Baumer, Elsie Schmitmeyer and Bernadette Sanders; and a stepgrandchild.
He was a retired farmer and former Minster Local School Board member. He also was a member and adult server of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and a member of St. Augustine Orphan Society and Knights of Columbus Council #2158, Minster, where he served as a past Grand Knight.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
