* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

A few of the 1,600-1,700 geese around the Grand Lake St. Marys area feed at the Mercer County Wildlife Refuge on state Route 703 near Montezuma. Saturday and Sunday will bring previously chosen youth to the refuge and all interested youths around the state to hunt waterfowl during Youth Waterfowl Hunting Days in Ohio. Open waterfowl season begins Oct. 21 with new north south zones. These can be seen on the map below.
