At the Ulrich Fish Quarry in Kemmerer, Wyo., students John Contreras, Mendon, and Nicole Stienke, Sidney, split shale to find fish fossils. The fish were fossilized in a fresh water lake system that dried up.
Enduring sweltering heat and a dangerous hailstorm, 18 Wright State University-Lake Campus students recently traveled through nine states collecting more than 3,000 pounds of fossils to bring back to Celina. [More]
