* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jeannine Hirschfeld
C. Jeannine Hirschfeld, 76, 144 Bear Drive, New Bremen, died at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 9, 2006, at the Hospice of Dayton.
She was born July 26, 1930, in Sidney, to Leo and Irene Gossard Sheely. On Nov. 10, 1956, she married Nathan Hirschfeld, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Neil, Eugene, Ore.; a daughter, Karen Fox, New Bremen; three brothers, Ronald (Peggy) Sheely, Vandalia, Gerald (Diane) Sheely, Findlay, and Philip (Marcia) Sheely, Richardson, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister-in-law, Virginia Seely.
She worked at Monarch Machine & Tool Co., Sidney, and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Sidney High School. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, where she taught Sunday School for over 27 years. She was a member of American Legion Post 241, New Bremen, of which she was the former treasurer for a number of years.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Revs. John Tostrick and Eugene Hegemier officiating. At her request, her body is to be cremated following the services and her remains will be buried at a later date in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
