* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Charles Whited
Celina native Charles F. "Chuck" Whited Jr., 57, of Kossuth died at 7:57 a.m. Sept. 7, 2006, at his home. Death was due to kidney cancer.
He was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Celina, to Charles F. and Mary Ellen Schwarck Whited Sr. He was raised by his mother and uncle, Bill Schwarck. On Sept. 5, 1970, he married Roberta Lee Ralston, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jason, at home; three daughters, Lichele (Rob) Olberding, Jackson Center, Shondra (Kip) Hoover, Kossuth, and Ashley A., Taylor University, Upland, Ind.; a brother, John (Sue), Ohio City; a sister-in-law, Arliss Herron, Kossuth, and four grandchildren.
He worked as an electrician at the Lima Engine Plant of Ford Motor Company for 28 years and recently took medical retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving as a GCA radar technician. He was a 1966 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and attended The Ohio State University, Columbus. He was a member of the Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191, Spencerville, and the U.A.W. Local 1219.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Steve Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery near Mendon, with graveside rites by American Legion Post 191 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6772, both of Spencerville.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Saturday and after 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
