* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ray Smith
Ray A. Smith, 68, 217 Gwendolyn St., Fort Recovery, died Aug. 3, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Fort Recovery, to Paul H. and Eleanor B. Kaiser Smith. He was married to Eddene "Tiny" Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Stephen (Phyllis) Miller, Fort Recovery; a daughter, Diana (Tom) Westgerdes, Fort Recovery; three brothers, Bob (Helen) and Dick, all of Fort Recovery, and Stanley, Celina; a sister, Phyllis (Jim) Burns, West Alexandria; a sister-in-law, Linda Wood, Ansonia; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Jim; a brother-in-law, Carl Parrett; and a sister-in-law, Jeannie Smith.
He was the owner and operator of the former Smitty's Bar, Fort Recovery. He worked at Avco New Idea, was a courier for First Financial Bank, Celina, and a rural mail carrier at the St. Henry and Celina Post Offices.
He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Ohio Progressive Sportsman Club and Fort Recovery Gun Club, all of Fort Recovery. He was a 1957 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
