* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Cooling off with a book

Haley Tuttle, 4, and Jarrett Brock, 7, both of Celina, beat the heat earlier this week by reading books at the library in Celina. Temperatures over the weekend will be a bit milder in the high 70s to low 80s, said local weatherman Dennis Howick.
