Dorothy Hoenie
Dorothy M. Hoenie, 70, 526 N. Buckeye St., Celina, died at 6:41 p.m. July 12, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born March 10, 1936, in Mercer County, to Joseph and Lillie Place Alexander. On March 1, 1968, she married John Hoenie, who died April 2, 2002.
Survivors are a brother, Norman Alexander and a sister, June (Louis) Goodwin, all of Celina.
Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Robert Alexander and a sister, Alice Barger.
She retired as bookkeeper for the former Barrs' Five & Dime Store, Celina. She was a 1954 graduate of Celina High School and a member of the Celina First Church of God.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial is in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice, Coldwater.
