| What effect will gyroscopic force have on someone seated on a swivel stool? Students at Marion Local schools now know it will give a good spin to the stool rider. COSI on Wheels visited the school Tuesday to present activities that gave students a taste of applied physics, chemistry and math. At right, Marion Local volunteer Lynn Hemmel-garn watches as Dea Stucke has a turn at rotational resistance and gyroscopic force as she hangs onto a spinning bicycle wheel.
