Order Quality Photo Reprints

A linear accelerator, better known as the machine that delivers radiation to a patient, is prepped and awaiting its next patient. The machine itself is valued at about $1 million. The ceiling above the unit includes painted tiles depicting a calming landscape scene — an escape and focal point for the patient.
The serenity room, pictured to the right, with its high ceiling and inviting “mall like” seating, is a retreat for patients and victims who visit the center. It is located on the north side of the building and will offer an exit door to a brick-paved walkway leading to an outdoor sitting area.
